Does Ayu perform at Award Shows?
 

She did one in 2003 or 2004 at the MTV Music Awards in Japan, right? But now it seems she only does tours and the countdown lives.

she used to, but not anymore~ mostly it's just the music shows like music station, etc.

she wants to leave the awards to other artists because she felt she became the same awards every year

If I remember right, she performed Days in some award show last year, but I don't think she was nominated. She have only performed in a TV show once this year.

that was the 130 million choose show, i think that show is kind of an exception where she performs(and i think they dont even give awards, they just make some kind of ranking i think)

Doesn't she perform at this show every year... I have like "memorized" the songs cos they're all so nice lol.

Kouhaku/Best artist 130million people choose aren't really award shows =P Kouhaku is just a huge music extravaganza at the end of the year, where you are invited to perform. No "awards" are actually given out at these shows =P

She refused to accept any awards in 2004, which is why she no longer performs at any award shows.

Well, I guess she doesn't perform at the Japan Record Awards anymore (held december 31st) because she should be tired of the Kouhaku & CDL rehersals & shows... And the Japan Gold Disk Awards (during march) sometimes coincide with her tours

ya....i think she will receive the same award if she continues to participate in those awards show
