Favorite song that sadly had a bad PV?
 

I'm sure we all have a song that we love a lot by Ayu, but dislike the PV sadly. So name them out :D (sorry if this topic was made before. Close this thread if one was already made)

Daybreak
The arrangement and lyrics and vocals were great! The PV, not so great. Ayu is standing in a winding road singing to the camera. It was not interesting at all.

ANGEL'S SONG
Seriously Ayu, what happened? The PV was so cheesy and terrible. You can't help but giggle at the bad special effects xD

rainy day
This PV didn't have anything interesting happening in it either. I was expecting something more, dramatic xD

glitter / fated
I didn't really enjoy the whole story of it and all. It was interesting for a few minutes, but then just got really boring.

NEXT LEVEL
Such a great, beautiful song. Boring PV, at least some of the scenes are nice.

Sparkle
The 80's beginning thing was really cute. But then the latex was just so tacky and dumb looking. You can tell the director was forcing her to be sexy, but he was just trying too hard.

HANABI ~episode II~
The PV just didn't have a central idea, it just wasn't going anywhere.

JEWEL
It got boring a minute and a half through. It was just tiresome and boring to watch Ayu bath in jewelry.

usually, when songs are good, and they have a bad PV, it ruins the whole song for me! i start not liking the song as much..
I loved Sparkle, but liked it slightly less when i saw the PV. even though it was okay

thank you for the thread! i've been looking for a thread similar to this to pop up... because I want to add my 2 cents. XD

For me... the biggest disappointment is (don't) Leave me alone. The song sounds so epic! truly one of the better songs from Ayu. In my opinion, they should have done something like My Name's Woman, but MORE epic x100. (D)LMA had the perfect ups and downs for a great music video. the bridge was also excellent. gahhh. instead, she just had this bob haircut and cheesy suit/skirts and walked in a frosty looking building. it was awful!!! the outfits... YUCK. cheap and yuck. i'd be embarassed if the music video was played in public tbh... like people would go "so that's ayumi hamasaki? meh"

maybe also (d)lma and pride.

Voyage... i gotta say it... low quality and the makeup on ayu made her so old~

Sparkle, agh, the song is awesome, but the PV is just cheap. Boo.

NEXT LEVEL and Pride, they could've done better than that, seriously. I wish she made a PV with storylines or at least some hidden message instead of walking around/driving around.

The lighting was way too bright, and pretty much made the PV very difficult to watch. :/

I'm rather disappointed with Rainy day PV
it was too plain for me,she's sitting at the bust stop9i think so) most of the time

Sadly, they are all great songs.

Also, Born To Be... was ugh. The only decent scene was when Ayu and the children were doing that 'When I grow up, I want to be a...' talk.

*Born To Be... - the concept was great but the light was too much. I could barely see ayu in some parts

TO BE: What's with all the psychedelia? It had such promising lyrics to build on!

HEAVEN: Black and white, train station, ok... With the whole shinobi background, the PV just falls flat on it's face.

First of all, it's like.. See 3 seconds, and you can tell people you have seen it all. It's the same all over the video. And I have always seen NEXT LEVEL more as an big-city song!
