Fave/Best New JPop Acts Of 2009 ?
 

So far I only have a few names on my list whom I feel that they're awesome & I'm so glad to have discovered their music on here via AHS :heart

for me it will be as follows :

1) Kuroki Meisa - oh god hellcat's 1 of if not the most surprising debut mini album that I came across so far this year . I was very skeptical in trying Kuroki's singing especially since she's an actress & model by right but wow , she blew me away big time when hellcat was released & she even co-composed 3 tracks in the form of Criminal , SEX & LOST which're ACE :heart

2) flumpool - a HUGE :shughug to ll moments ll for getting me so terribly hooked to their music , it's something I tell you & I'm officially obsessed & addicted to their music now .

There's no way you cannot get hooked onto Hoshi ni Negai wo , Hana ni Nare & Harukaze at all & I have a feeling bigger & better things will befall on this 4 piece indie rock group

3) Yusuke - 1/3 of the now defunt boyband trio Shuchishin . He has a solo career now & his debut single Himawari's neat & I was real impressed with it . I'm going to be following his solo material now , not that I have any plans to listen to Shuchishin at all

they didn't start to release singles in physical format til this year in Feb

still considering if I want to get Hoshi ni Negai wo , it has never left my mp3player ever since I downloaded it xD xD

I don't understand the hype around Meisa. To me, she's like Yamada Yu, Yui Aragaki and Leah Dizon. Pretty faces, but overall, pretty talentless (singer-wise of course, I love Yamada and Yui as actresses, and Meisa is a wonderful model).

lol maybe because I 1st known her as an actress in One Pound Gospel aka IchiPon that's why I like her so much ? :laugh

I was honestly surprised after I downloaded hellcat & I did regret preordering it so early from CDJapan but not anymore

It's like you said they have pretty faces. Who doesn't love a pretty face?
