Saying good-bye: ayaka Iida and Michael Jackson

NOTE: I don't know where I should put this, as this involves both Ayaka Iida (known as ayaka; a Japanese pop singer) and Michael Jackson ("King of Pop", MJ; world-record holder), and MJ is not a Japanese pop singer, but if someone thinks this should be moved, feel free to ask an administrator.

It's really sad to say, but I'm really saying good-bye to these two artists: Ayaka Iida, in which she has Graves' disease and is stopping her music career for the foreseeable future to concentrate on healing from this disease as well as her marriage with her husband Hiro Mizushima, while something different outside of Ayaka's nature that I am talkign about also is Michael Jackson, which as we know that he died on June 25 and, at time of my posting this new topic, recently had a memorial service that would be the biggest in history of entertainment on July 7.

I feel sad for these two people, as Ayaka has got to concentrate on things that are priority for her, which is her health condition and her marriage with Hiro, while MJ is a musician that people will never forget and will think that this effort that he had done will never be imitated. Not even Ayumi Hamasaki or any of the artists in the world will ever try to imitate MJ...

Does anybody have comments on what I am talking? If you do, feel free to post your comments here. I feel that the comments that you are posting here might make me happy again.

EDIT: Ayaka's not dead!!! She's just stopping her music career for the foreseeable future as noted above, but MJ died - sorry for the confusion...

First, this topic is very misleading; I thought ayaka died also! Second, why do you keep comparing everyone to Michael Jackson and his death? First Ayu (who you still manage to make mention of in here) and now ayaka. Even though Michael paved the way for everyone in the music industry I think it's kinda unfair to compare him to anyone, let alone in this context, because simply put - Michael is Michael.

But, if I were to make some sort of comparison, it would be that, ayaka, although she has a very serious disease, at least she's alive and has a chance of continuing her career one day if she gets well. Michael isn't and doesn't.

Sorry, that's just how I feel.

i will miss ayaka as well, she had some pretty cute songs :(

Polyrhythm 7th July 2009 10:42 PM

The way you said it in your title made it sound like Ayaka died....I was like @_______@

ImpactBreaker 8th July 2009 01:56 AM

Has ayaka confirmed she'll stop forever? That's really ridiculous to assume that if she hasn't. Graves isn't a 100% lethal disease. It is a disease that has treatment, and she can fully control the disease and have a very niormal life and get back into singing if everything goes well. I don't really see why we should say goodbye to her right now :shrug

emikoishida 8th July 2009 02:33 AM

Ayaka shouldn't give up on her career! (This topic is very misleading, you almost gave me a heart attack.)

RikkuChii 8th July 2009 02:56 AM

OMG! I thought ayaka died too! I was about to lose it.

Poor ayaka..her music was so great, her voice is so beautiful..

Ayumi27 8th July 2009 03:14 AM

oh, I'll miss ayaka's music

Beauty4123 8th July 2009 03:17 AM

lol i thought ayaka died too (god forbid) when i first read this thread title. but no need to be so dramatic about it. ayaka's getting treatment and will just put her music career on hiatus.

murasakinohana 8th July 2009 04:57 AM

well, i just hope that her condition/health will improve and she'll recover, and get well enough to continue making good music. ^^

Amrai-chan 8th July 2009 05:03 AM

Ayaka just has her carrer on hold. The thread title can be misleading.

Izzette 8th July 2009 05:10 AM

........ AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Don't do that, I was worried about Ayaka. Her voice is beautiful..

A friend of mine had Graves, it was about a year process, it was fixed and she was back to singing in no time after she was healed..

It's fixable!

I hope Ayaka doesn't leave forever. :(!

Meat Pao 8th July 2009 09:23 AM
