Blowing Up Cities
 

In Ayu's Concert Tour 2000 vol. 2, what's the significance of the city being blown up in the End roll performance? Originally I thought it was a tribute to the terrorist attacks, but then I realised this was BEFORE them, so now I don't know what it could mean...any ideas?

well, the song is about going alone without looking back and without ever being ABLE to go back, so maybe the city shows that she cant go back by being destroyed

Vol. 2 is nice, but Vol. 1 is SOOOOOOOOOO much better.

i prefer volume 1 too. yeah i though the same thing with city blowing up she can't go back and maybe that's why she can't turn/ or maybe its the way she felt inside her , like all the sadness exploding in her heart would be symbolyzed by the city blowing up. only ayu knows the exact answer ...

I was thinking and maybe it's possible that the entire concert is interlinked, like I remember the part of vol. 1 where Ayu's body double commits suicide, so maybe she's trying to represent something there...I'm gonna have to watch them back-to-back again sometime and see if I can make it make sense. XD

I assume that ayu had little control over her concerts last time so i wonder who came up with such ideas.
