What happened to MTRLG?!
 

i had heard that there was a MTRLG store in the 109 in shibuya so i tried to look it for the past summer and couldn't find it... did ayu cease production for her clothing brand? why? what happened?

If I remember correctly, it wasn't HER brand. She was just advertising for it.

oohh i know that brand...i think it already closed..
but .is that one of the expensive brand in 109?

No, MTRLG isn't Ayu's brand.
Ayu was just designing for the brand and had a few collections.

Ohh I see u.u I wished it was hers lol anyway, too bad if this brand is over(?) maybe they had to close a few places, but still running??

^Yea Team Message is a brand. Someone had posted their website on the forum not too long ago. :)

so was MTRLG a section of some other brand? I remember when she started it... I loved the website! I always wanted some of the things.. They also had MTRLB on her website as well

MTRLG got bought out by another company awhile back. I forget which one it was...

Last time I went to Shibuya 109 it was still there though. Fourth or fifth floor. So if it closed, it would have been pretty recent. (sometime within the last 5 months or so)

I think MTRLG was changing into other name. But I don't remember the new name.

MTRLG is not Ayu's own.

I was in 109 just this past May and didn't see it...I would've totally freaked out. =P

So it looks like it was HeavenarK who bought out Material Girl, but their website isn't working anymore right now so I don't have any other info on them (or if they're still around).

I went to 109 last summer as well and it was already gone

I don't think Heavenark is around anymore

Though I'm glad I went to Japan in 05 and got a MTRLG tank top! Just like the ones ayu used to wear all the time

^ I could've sworn it was still there last time I went - or maybe it's that heavenark that is in its spot now?

I also luckily had already gotten a few MTRLG tops.
