Questions about Asia Tour 2007

I rewatched Asia Tour 2007 Documentary again yesterday.

In the conversation between Ayu and one of her staff said that "Memorial address" should be sang during the tour.
Now, this question suddenly come to my mind :
"Who decides the setlist of her concerts?"

From those conversation, I thought that her staff decides the song that should be sang during the tour, not Ayu herself.
If so, then all of her concerts setlist isn't decided by Ayu herself too?
Anyone could make it clear about this?

Another Question :
In the documentary, now I know that the director for "taskinst" video during Asia Tour 2007 is Wataru Takeishi.
But, at some point, they say that they made 2 video, the original and the softer one.
In the DVD, I thought it was the original, because it is in Fukuoka, right?
So, in Japan, they decided to use the original taskinst Special Screen.
But outside of Japan they using the softer one.
What's the different? (For those who already see the softer Special Screen)
Anyone knows?

Thanks in advance. ;)

i remembered they use the softer special screen because of the rules that china and taiwan had set.not violent screen to be played on concerts

Yeah, I know that too. :D

So what is the difference?
They just cut the violent scene or changed them?

i think the cut that part and replace with some other not so violent scene...watching the documentary right now ~

I would guess that Ayu has a say in what her setlist is after her staff suggests a few songs. Ayu herself probably has a few songs she wants to sing every now and then, but her staff probably recommends a song that flows well with her current album tracks or something that they know the audience would enjoy.

Memorial Address was a pretty convenient song to sing, since A BEST 2 was released and had the song on it and she performed it on Music Station. Ayu/her staff most likely decided the song would be good for an encore song and as further promotion for her album.

I believe Ayu has the final say in the set list, she takes charge of pretty much everything after all.

I once read that the "soft" version of the taskinst interlude consists only of Ayu stroking Shuya the whole way, after the arresting scene 0____0

Ayu decides the setlist, but she works on the setlist with her staff, so she's probably asking for opinions on singing that song.

Yeah, I think Ayu also deciding on it too, but none of them maybe. :(

Thanks everyone for giving the information. ;)

I still remember she saying her staff got surprised after she showed them what she wanted pcdl setlist to be...

She is the boss, but a good boss will always listen and consider the opinion of his/her staff

there were quite a few changes made during AT2007.

1) taskinst video u mentioned above

2) change in ENCORE pieces... (JEWEL, Memorial address, momentum). Ayu decides herself. She changed to momentum in Shanghai because she felt that this song would better promote the album of Secret.

3) Not Yet video was originally longer than whats on the DVD. It was to accommodate her needing a longer time to put on the feathers for SURREAL.

4) The original outfit for SURREAL was the one with feathers (Boys & Girls). but she realised that the feathers were not really suitable and removed it from the Taiwan concert (3rd concert of AT2007). Hence, she would need less time to change costume. But she didnt want the audience to wait any longer, so she decided to shorten the Not Yet video to what we are watching on the DVD now.

:D

That's enough, the answers were perfect. Thanks! :D
