A Question about "independent" Clap

Okay, this might be a worthless question to ask, but I'm so curious about it.
Please help me! :yes

Did someone notice that the "independent" clap in the beginning of the song, is the same with these 2 songs?

大塚 愛 - SMILY
Spoiler:

Listen carefully the opening of the song.

L'Arc~en~Ciel - Feeling Fine
Spoiler:

Listen carefully the opening of the song.

So, My Question is :
Is it coincidence?
Or that kind of beat is popular in Japan?
(Sorry, I couldn't make a proper question since my english aren't that good to describe my question. :thud)

I heard that clap thousends of times here in germany before, too, it's just pretty much your usual clapping rhythm

Is that clapping rhytm has a name?

NintendoHTF1242 13th December 2009 06:59 PM

yoshino 14th December 2009 05:37 AM

hahaz, I thought it's a very common clap that people always use as a rhytum to cheer. (during my sec school days)

I think it has a name or smth. the 11 claps?? ← I guess.

I think it's '11 claps' too. We used it as a cheer as well.

One two
one two three
one two three four
one two!

XD

the rhythm is really common everywhere.. i guess ayu jus wanted to have a tune more familiar with everyone.

mellody 15th December 2009 05:26 PM

I'm curious about this because in my country I didn't find something like this. :(

Thanks to make it clear anyway~

Yeah, it's not like it's just a song thing, or that anyone's borrowed it or anything. :P I've heard it tons of times before, and at school it's a pep rally kinda thing. So anytime I try to do the "Ayu thing" and clap like that, it never comes off as interesting. =P It's like, "Oh, there's a game?" xD
