Ayu song that has had the greatest impact on your life?

So, we all became fans of Ayu for a reason, and for some of you, it had to be because of her lyrics, right? So please share the song, and the part of the song that really had the greatest impact on your life! Or, if it's a song without any lyrics, then please tell us why the music itself really impacted you!

For me, the song that really got me was RAINBOW, for the part in the song where she says, "No rain, can't get the rainbow." The whole song was just amazing to me, and the PV was amazing too. From then on, I've been more optimistic, always thinking, "No rain, can't get the rainbow." XD

Now it's your turn! :D

It wasn't my first Ayu song, but MY ALL. It's such a beautiful, positive song and it's really taught me that even if I make mistakes it's okay. :P

A Song for XX

...saved me from suicide and made me eternally grateful for ayu.

Days. that song set my Ayu fandom to full bloom and it's really The Song I can relate to the most... so, thank you Ayu~ ^^

CAROLS. Though I don't wish to say anything about why.

one I can remember is 'talkin' 2 myself'

"If you have an unsatisfied feeling
That's what you made by your hands"

somehow I realized that if I was felling down for something that's the felling I created myself and it was up to me to stand up again.

Secret saved my life

Dearest :blove

I know maybe she has better songs but this is very special for me, I met Ayu through this song and still today I get excited when I see Ayu singing it live in concerts ^^

A Song for XX
gave me hope in life again

Memorial address
made the tears stop

momentum

It didn't save my life (because that didn't need saving), but it saved my love - which was certainly in need of saving. Then again, if I'd lost my love, everything would have lost control from there.

momentum got me through the pain, and it made me realise just how much I loved that person, and no matter what, I would not let them go. Never. Actually telling Ayu that, both in my letter for her, and the fanbook, was like the end of that chapter. Especially as I met Ayu with the person who I love so much.

That'd be forgiveness. And for that reason, I can't listen to it anymore.

JackieRos 28th February 2010 10:05 PM

the first time I ever heard I am.. I was awed so I could say that but
speaking lyrics wise is SURREAL I will always love these lyrics

Quote:

Choosing only the things you like
isn't irresponsible.
If you can't find anything you like
then why accept the responsibility?
I take only the possibilities that I'm ready to accept.
and this is what I do, I can be selfish if I damn please

also
Quote:

Loneliness that you feel together is worse
than a loneliness that you feel
by yourself.
this is so true

thats something i could never determine . . .as its ayu herself who chooses to make such music that has impacted my life. . .i think ayus songs will help me later in life. yes later. im still quite young

i suppose. . .my most precious lyrics come from A Song is Born. . .Free & Easy. . .and SURREAL. . .also evolution. . .A Song for XX is precious too. same for Alterna . . .all for different reasons

also. . .RAINBOW is dearest. for reasons as captian kawaii said
"no rain, can't get the rainbow" :)

"walking proud" live at AT 2005 was an impact for how I saw Ayu, but and impact for my life, sure a song for xx and memorial address

a song for xx
I was born alone. I'll go on living alone.
I thought that surely that kind of life is appropriate.

because this is who I am... That song IS me, and the fact that she did a song like this with such a power is like: DAMN, you are telling just in front of my face what I have to change! and knowing it is what made a great impact on me... Ayu, with this and other songs helps me to start changing... I feel so grateful...

memorial address
I wish I could have heard from you
That I had certainly been loved by you
Only once, even if it had been a lie

not exactly as the lyrics say it... but it's about a part of my past that I don't understand, and a person I never knew... This songs makes me feel a lot of different things... it's powerful...

Lizzyboo 28th February 2010 10:30 PM

Startin', since i have really low self-esteem this song taught me that basically, if i dont like me then who will? and who cares what others think, what do you think? i wrote about it in a journal for an english class in high school (and included the lyrics) and my teacher said it was a great song ^_^ i felt proud

hikaricore 28th February 2010 10:31 PM

RAINBOW...
RAINBOW gives me strength. I ignored it for a very long time and when I finally listened... I cried.
It gives me that push inside to be strong and believe in myself.

kalikagai 28th February 2010 10:33 PM

Mirrorcle World. It inspires me to stand up from fear and despair, to shut up and fight.

They ask me:
"Do you go with the flow or want to stop it?"
"Do you turn a blind eye or aren't you even looking?"
"Are you fighting or raising the white flag?"
It's no time to play a victim and escape.

It's so true to my life.

PinkShinigami 28th February 2010 11:07 PM

rainy day

It's such inspiring lyrics, the PV is pretty cute, and not to forget, the music is amazing and her voice so clean and touching.
I remember, it was one of the first ayu songs I heard (after Dearest), and well, after some time, I fell more in love with her other songs and kinda forgot it. But I remember how I was so touched, when the music was loud and it suddenly played. So amazing~

Ayumi27 1st March 2010 01:05 AM

No song has changed my life or sth like that... But Dearest must be the closest one
