do Singaporeans get their albums on the exact date that the album is released?
 

um, i am from Malaysia and i know Malaysians wait for a month after the album releases..

but this time it's gonna be different... i need to get the album on time, so do singaporeans get their albums on the exact date that the album is released?

We getting the album on the exact date? We can only dream on lah chloeM.. LOLx.:P Here in SG, we get the releases 1 or 2 weeks after the official release in Japan. :yes

Singapore never gets it on time. i remember there is one single that Karen announced that it was released on the same day as japan. I forgot which. But that happened only once.

So its almost impossible for the album to be released on the same day. Anything with DVD usually takes very long in Singapore.

haha.i think if you want to get a copy on the release date,the only way is pre-order it @ cdjapan

looks like the same thing here we only got the You were.../BALLAD single about 2 months after the official release :eviltongu

and yeah k pop boom is everywhere and almost all the store have lots of their album collection compare to the jpop album :o :grumpy

The TW press is out 2 days after RnRC is released, btw :)

(TW Had to wait 3 weeks before BoA's IDENTITY was released. That's why I got Korean press :D)

haha yeah same here just from what i can see the propotion is just not really satisfy me,oh maybe i just want to see more jpop stuff specially Ayu :D nwey it's ok though just hoping that they would be more fast to distribute the album here :rolleyes

I seldom see OS press of jpop material being made available on the same day as Japan's

but it has happened before but not artistes under avex . I seen that happened quite often before for artistes that're under Sony BMG who frankly to me , they do a much better job producing S'pore presses of jpop material of their artistes as compared to Warner who has a hi & bye heckcare attitude

Also with a censorship board in my country , it doesn't help that material for jpop comes in odd timings of the year . Sometimes , I don't even see an OS press album/single being made available here at all , be it with or without DVD & it also depends on how popular a particular artiste's here too

for BoA's case , avex Taiwan has to translate Korean to traditional chinese with regards to the translation sheet which explained why it took a lot more longer than usual

her singles like TOHOSHINKI do get released 2 days after the release date in Japan cos it's just a single & not an album

both S'pore & Malaysia have censorship boards unlike Taiwan & Japan . If not things will be dealt with a lot more faster/efficient

& there's also tax too >_<

so sad,i just wish that we have Avex Trax Malaysia or Singapore lol XD

Urm... ChloeM, I live in Malaysia too. But I often see the album released in Malaysia is about 1 to 2 weeks after the Japan released. I don't think the album is quite late anyway.

I don't think that will take a month to release in Malaysia. I live in Ipoh and often buy albums and singles of Ayu at Music World, Ipoh Parade or in a store beside the music instrument store in Jaya Jusco Ipoh.

P/S: Actually PCDL is quite late released here.. Idk if RnRC also will quite late like PCDL.
