is it bad that I'm more excited for KAT-TUN's than ARASHI's xD :laugh

really man JStorm/J-One Records .... , all the fangirls are going to be broke , very very very broke xD

TITANIC 5th April 2010 10:22 AM

another bad month in May.

AyuGAME 5th April 2010 11:30 AM

^LOL...
i think arashi is better than kattun musically and vocally...arashi is not that bad...i'm used to follow their releases...but they are too fast...and make me confuse...and the song become too generic...

KarenPang 5th April 2010 11:34 AM

lol to me KAT-TUN's better vocally , be it as a group or individual & I think all 6 of them can sing & I don't mind the solos that each of them sang on their own

ARASHI's a different thing altogether . They only sound good vocally together but solos wise , I only like all the solo songs that's sung by Ohno

the rest are frankly not good vocally on their own

SunshineSlayer 5th April 2010 12:59 PM

^ I disagree a bit - I think Nino and Sho are good vocally on their own. And obviously Ohno is too.

KAT-TUN vocally I don't think is bad, but I also think they are overrated vocally. Akanishi Jin especially. But overall the members are better than Jun and Aiba of Arashi at least. No one though tops Arashi's Ohno.

TITANIC 5th April 2010 02:25 PM

^ agree. I like nino and Sho's voice as well. KAT-TUN has better voice compared arashi but Arashi's music much better than KAT-TUN. they have more variable music not like KAT-TUN stay with Rock

Nino & Sakurai's solos are a hit & miss for me . When it's a hit , it's REALLY a hit *points to Niji as an example

Akanishi - well I like his voice but personality it's a different thing altogether xD

& unlike MatsuJun , I can tolerate all of Junno's solos but yeah Ohno's still tops . He's not the best dancer & singer in ARASHI for nothing anyway

@riozz - KAT-TUN's not full rock already . They have slowly move away from that , you look at Love yourself & THE D-MOTION

even the preview for their new single Going ! has autotune going on again

ARASHI sadly to me has sold out to the masses & if you listen to Everything , My Girl & Troublemaker , don't you realise all 3 of them sound eerily the same ?

SunshineSlayer 5th April 2010 03:44 PM

^ Well Troublemaker I think sounds very different from Everything and My Girl. I did have a problem with them last year though when they released Everything, Season, and My Girl back to back because those did sound very similar. I don't think its right to say they "sold out" though necessarily. They are a Johnny's group. From the very beginning they were designed to sell to the masses - so "selling out" I don't think really applies; it was built in from the start. You could say that their A-sides over the last year have had less variety in the past, but their b-sides have still had some more experimental type material.

KarenPang 5th April 2010 03:52 PM

I probably shouldn't have used the words 'sell out' in this context but I did so because their older works were really hip hop/rock influence before they shifted to a much more pop oriented sound in the process of a huge re-surge in their popularity which I didn't like it in them

I can't even remember the last single that they put out which was like that & it's quite depressing

but anyway you're right . Even though last year's singles were quite meh except for Believe , Ashita no Kioku , Crazy Moon , the B-sides were great

especially Super Fresh & Tokei Jikake no Umbrella .... Tokei Jikake no Umbrella should have been the A-side of My Girl to begin with sigh

Beauty4123 5th April 2010 05:32 PM

i'm more excited for arashi, of course, but i look forward to KAT-TUN's single, too. :)

and although jun isn't the best singer (i can't deny it) i still love him! :laugh :smitten

tokyoxjapanxfan 5th April 2010 05:59 PM

arashi is way to fast...

but is akanishi going to be featured in the song?
