More Details Emerge On New Björk Album

Björk has set a release date for her new album, "Volta." According to her Web site, the Atlantic effort will drop May 7 and with feature guest appearances from LFO's Mark Bell, drummer Chris Corsano (Sonic Youth, Six Organs Of Admittance) and Chinese pipa player Min Xiao-Fen. She also assembled at 10-piece all-female brass section, formed of musicians from her home country Iceland.
As previously reported, the singer/songwriter has tapped Timbaland, Antony Hegarty of Antony and the Johnsons and Lightning Bolt's Brian Chippendale for the effort as well.
