Back in the old days ayu + hikki were really popular in chinese places. I remember that when A BEST was release, arond 0.4 to 0.5 million copies were sold in Taiwan after 2 to 3 months, and the battles between hikki and ayu created lots of fights in those chinese forums/newsgroups. In 2002, when ayu visited HK it created quite a chaos in traffic. Therefore, we can't underestimate ayu's power back in the old days
