It made her top the 2006 favorite artist list by Oricon for the first time in 2 years, it is the best-selling digital single ever (7 million copies sold) and digital + physical sales equal 7.7 million sold making it the best-selling single ever. So yes, Flavor of Life was a giant huge hit.
