Well, personally I think it's waaaay too over-Photoshopped. I get trying to smooth out imperfections, but look at that thing! I think you'd be hardpressed to find an actual human being without ANY lines on their face, especially while smiling like that. And the lack of the realistic shadows on her face...no matter how much lighting hits your face, it's never going to be that airbrushed-looking. And also, her smile just looks extremely forced. Even on previous similar covers like &, her smile was prominent and illuminating but not so forced like it looks here.
I can understand people's reasons for liking it though.
