But shouldn't the 1st verse be something like this:
"There are times
When we don't know what to do
And we make terrible mistakes"?

"doo shiyoo mo nai" has two meanings.
1. it cannot be helped / no good
2. terrible
In general, when "doo shiyoo mo nai" comes to the end of the sentence, the meaning is 1. And when a noun comes after "doo shiyoo mo nai", the meaning is 2. In this case, the lyric is "doo shiyoo mo nai ayamachi (mistakes)", so it means "terrible mistakes". And if I translate "we don't know what to do" into Japanese, it's "doo shitara iika wakaranai."
Btw, I'd like to change the two parts a little as bellow.
from "As if nothing had happened"
to "As if nothing had happened apparently"
from "We are only the dots, but are the whole"
to "Each of us is only a dot, but is all"
Are they no problem grammatically?
