There are multiple music awards in Japan and those are just the different ones offered by different people. It's similar to the distinctions between American music awards. You not only have the Grammys but also the American Music Awards, the Billboard Awards, etc.
Japan CAN have more than one music award
I believe the Gold Disc Award is one of the most prestigious; Nihon Record Taishou is the top one though.
