Well i actually discovered ayu because of one of my classmates. She listens to tonnes of j-pop and k-pop but now she has fully changed to visual kei lol... Anyway, she used to send me sample of what she listens to like miyavi, gackt, hikki and ayu.

So yeah, that's how i discovered her. But i guess she's popular eveywhere, regularly appearing on chinese magazines and such. My friends actually like her too (since i go to a school with 97% asians) XD! And yes, asian music/dramas dominates at my school lol...
