well, you can't really blame on Japan. Rather, I think you should blame on avex this time. Releasing an album so close to a massive selling album is always not a good idea (example, Ayu's second week RAINBOW vs. KinKi Kids' first week D album). This time ayu's facing two massive albums. It's obvious that GUILTY do not have a longer chart run compared to EXILE or kobukuro, and nowadays ayu's biggest sales week is on the first week.
And you guys can't say it's dumb that oricon combines the first two weeks' sales in January. It has been ALWAYS like that since the beginning (or at least the time we entered the Jpop world). Why no one said it was dumb when ayu released I am and (miss)understood?
