I guess we will just have to wait for the full translation because the way it's worded in the first post makes it seem like she didn't think that this would somehow get outside of TA......which is just, ridiculous.

Really? Say Madonna announced she was suddenly deaf - it would be all over the news in two seconds. There's no reason to think that Ayu, the biggest pop star in Asia, wouldn't receive the same kind of response. (at least in Japan for sure)
