I played the flute and piccolo for six years, but haven't touched either much since I graduated from high school. I wasn't in any kind of band during college either. I can still play though if the urge ever hits.
I was always really good at it too and while I may be a bit rusty nowadays, I can always polish up my skills when neccesary.
