They do sell used CD's, though, and it's natural that some might not have perfect cases. One of my cases (Duty) was cracked, but I just swapped it with a new one. There's never been any damage to the actual CD's or inserts.

Well good for you, I was just speaking about something that happened to someone i knew, the things she received weren't just "not perfect cases", the CDs were scratched, and some of the booklets were actually quite bent, and the actual CD cases were quite damaged.
Sorry about your cracked CD, at least you had an extra case
