not only these two companies, but i think major labels have silent agreements/deals about that. B'z (Vermillion), Mr. Children (Toy's Factory), ayu (avex), KAT-TUN/KinKi/Arashi (Johnny). The former three + KinKi Kids all have no. 1 streaks, while those other Johnny boys are aiming for streaks as well
