Because there is always surprises throughout lives. I could always imagine that an unknown new artist would probly knock ayu off weekly no. 1 one day. It seems like finally this imagination come into reality.
Well.. hikki's physical sales is weak at this moment, but her digital sales are really strong. Ayu's sales are considered weak rite now in both physical and digital. I'm not sure tho if ayu's sales will increase if she releases like how hikki does now.

Once the streak is gone I'm sure lots of us don't need to worry about the no. 1 statue... and we'll have more brain cells to concentrate on her music instead of killing off half of the cells because of that
