I don't see the point in comparing the two artists though since at this point in Mariah's career, she is absolutely NOTHING like Leona.

I suppose, I was just moderately impressed with the record, and not impressed at all by the sales. 204k is not great for an album that has such a huge hit. Even Danity Kane's last album had a higher first week than that. Makes me wonder how well this album will do in coming weeks. And that's quite a bizarre comparison to make, saying that if this were Mariah's debut CD it would be beaten by Leona. Just because it's a debut doesn't mean it's going to have low sales. Many artists' first CDs are their best selling. I think a lot of people are drawing a lot of comparisons between Leona and (old) Mariah. It seems like her management is inspired by Mariah's career debut, although I think it is quite ridiculous to make that comparison when one is 200 million records into her career and the other is just starting out.

Girl come off it, if it's so lame then why is it set to sell over 500k+ in its first week?
