I'm pretty lucky then actually have friends who like Ayu. I don't know, not that Japanese culture is THAT big over here, but well, I know a lot of people who are in Jpop, or Jrock, or Jdoramas.
Some who don't would at least think she's pretty or hot or gorgeous, yay! Although, since my phone is 70% her songs, others are other japanese songs, people get annoyed. But that's good, they don't have to borrow my phone! lol!
However, certain people go:
"DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY"RE TALKING ABOUT?!! Listen to some english songs, dammit! You're sooo outdated!"
I wish I can say, "do you actually expect eeeeveeeryyyooone to listen to Rihanna or Ciara or whatever names they have?!" (I honestly can't think of any other names lol)
They are just sooo annoying.
Yeah, honestly, I don't know what's in and what's not anymore in English songs, but whatever. I have Ayu to keep my company. ^^
