really have to disagree. I just don't think that album is the one to start with. I say go with SINGER FOR SINGER (her best in my opinion and highly underrated). Another great album to begin with would be Kiss In the Sky or ASCENSION. Really, there isn't much wrong you can do in listening to any of them first, but I think listening to Mars & Roses (her worst IMO), GLORY DAY, or Love Is The Message may turn you off from her. Here are the song's I'd recommend:
