I don't think IS IT YOU? is a ballad. and neither is By Myself.

I think hitomi only has like a handful of ballads: "kodoku na sora" , "LITTLE MORE" , "so you" & "flow".

to me ballad has to be slower than mid-tempo & have a certain mood
