yes he does know how to play the piano & from the live concerts that I have seen from him so far , he always play the piano for the encore performance
seems to me that his choice of song for playing the piano is even if
it's just him & the piano because usually his band members will back him up musically but when comes to his encore performance , it's just him & the piano
