To help victims of the horrible earthquake in Sichuan, China
Many music artists, movie actors and sports stars gathered together
to record the song “We are the Asia”, which is the korean version of “We Are the World”
This project involves the actor Jackie chan (conceptualized)
Park Jin Young (producer) and Kang Je Kyu (director)
The Korean stars (and chinese actor) singing are Park Jin Young, Jackie Chan, Wonder Girls, Wheesung, Chae Yeon, Brown Eyed Girls, Kim Dong Wan, Kan Mi Yeon, Hong Rok Ki, Ko Jun Yup, Kang Rae Won, Alex, Horan, Jeon Hye Bin, Kim Ah Joong, Kim Yuna, Yoo Seung Ho, Han Hye Jin, & more.
Over 30 stars are recording this song.
Due to conflict between the recording date and the schedules of some stars, there is another recording June 5th.
The track will be on a digital single, on a DVD and a making film. This will be shown during performances in China. It will be released in Korea, China, Japan and other Asian Countries.
All this money coming from the album sales will be donated to the Sichuan earthquake relief efforts.
