Well, I started out listening to Sailor Moon anime music. Then I found out about PGSM, and downloaded some songs by Kawabe Chieco. That's how I first listened to J-Pop.
And one day, visiting a PGSM website, I saw that the webmistress had a BoA fansite, and downloaded some songs. That introduced me to some more J-Pop, and a bit of K-Pop.
The first C-Pop I ever heard... I don't remember haha XD I think it was F.I.R, which I downloaded form an MP3 rotation.
