Amy Lee was given the 2008 Songwriter Icon award by the NMPA (Nation Music Publishers Association) at the annual NMPA meeting. The Icon award recognizes outstanding songwriters for their personal achievement and is presented to those who personify the vision of the NMPA and the goals of its members.

good for her. Has any one seen any of her 2007 - 2008 preformances? I've downloaded the audio for some and her voice fluctuates sometimes. Almost like she's singing herself hoarse in some places and her voice doesn't have the dexterity it used to have. Some of the fans have noticed to (some in a notso nice way) Has anybody else noticed?
Also, recently she's been including songs that were never on her tracklist. Like in Meadowlands last year, they played Understanding
and Missing. I was so pysched. Maybe she'll start playing even more of her pre-fallen songs. I'd love to see what she'd do with them now.
