You don't know how she's feeling, but she obviously has feelings that can produce something?
Her break up with Nagase was on good terms if I remember. Ayumi has gone through a lot of things in her life, so she's feeling things all the time. Maybe she just likes writing lyrics more than composing? Or maybe she likes her composers and trusts them to do something good? I'm sure if she really wanted to compose something, she would.
But to say the feelings were there and ready for a masterpiece? I don't know about that.
