So the festival has ended, and the dance/karaoke contest is over! The result? The class that did Inspire won! They pulled off the dance really nicely, and three girls took turns singing it while they danced. They also had some elaborate costumes with a sort of pan-Asian feel to them: a black coat with a Chinese style collar, short pants, with a red Obi (sash) and red trim. I'm not sure how to describe it better.

Unfortunately a lot of the other groups didn't put as much effort into theirs. For some reason the costumes for M were themed after Disney's Cinderella. The singer for My All was really good, but the class itself was kind of disorganized and some of the boys in the class forgot what they were doing in the middle! The other songs were ok, but nothing special compared to Inspire.

Even so, overall everyone did a really good job! I can't imagine American high school students coming together as a class and singing and dancing - I know it wouldn't have happened in my high school...

I'm waiting to hear details about when the DVD will be mastered, I was told it might take several months though, because they have only one teacher doing all of the editing and encoding work.
