Yeah... We're ALL unreasonable. I'm TOTALLY blinded by my love for ayu. Everyone on this forum is TOTALLY blinded by fan-love. (And if they're not, what are they doing here?) Even you are, you just don't know it. (^^); <--is being sarcastic. Seriously, though, don't attack people just because you disagree with them...

Anyway, I thought, "Wow! To be ranked in the top 100!" I think it's great and an honor to be in the top 50, even! Amuro was in ayu's shoes in the mid-1990s and she got a lower ranking. It's obvious that ayu's really influenced the business in the past few years. A lot of artists are writing lyrics for themselves, even pop idols. And the fashion trends are obviously influenced by her. It's so cool that she was on the list!
And of course I was expecting SAS, Matsuda, Sakamoto Ryu (Ue wo muite arukou...) and them to be on the list. But I guess I was sad to see Dreams Come True so far down on the list when I'd consider them a lot more influencial than Utada Hikaru or Shiina Ringo. After all, they DID make it into the top three for most albums sold in the decade of 1990. Ah well, it's obviously not a definitive list or anything.
Cheer up, everyone. ^^
