I realized that I've never listened to LOVE ~since 1999~ after seeing it mentioned so many times in this thread, so I looked it up on Imeem. I now understand why everyone hates it!
That Tsunku guy sounds like a cheesy Russian "estrada" singer (like
Andrei Gubin!), and the arrangement doesn't help.
