While I thought for a while that listening to Japanese music was a big part of my life, I realized that I'm not even that into it. Really, I would just consider myself a fan of Ayu, Mr.Children, and Ketsumeishi - and I like a bunch of random songs from a bunch of artists. Even so, the only Japanese artist I listen to everyday is Ayu. At the end of the day, there's still a language barrier. I've been listening to a lot more Western music now, instead of spending hours on jpopsuki searching for new Japanese acts to get into when it just won't work.
