Ayu sure has her magic~ Her songs have made me cry numerous times. And when I watch her new material, I just sorta sit still for a long time in a space that is completely my own concentrating. The time that it really got to me was during the CDL 06-07 Boys & Girls. It was actually the first Boys & Girls performance I watched, and I was completely captured when I saw the water burst out on the stage and Ayu start singing. Then she yells, and the audience joins in. The interaction amazed me. The sheer force and power of the performance was just... so completely Ayu and brilliant.
You should find the ARENA TOUR 2005 performance of that --- it's the first time she used those effects and was actually 100% better than the CDL version if you can believe that.
