I would think flop is something like Guilty sales numbers. Not that guilty flopped mind you, just that comilations are generally expected to do better than original albums. But for RIAJ, platinum is 250k and gold is 100k so let's say even if A Complete sells only 100k, should it be considered a flop? We are judging against ayu's standards here and it's very subjective. Just because we hope for a million doesn't mean if it doesn't reach that target, we go "oh it flopped, ayu's done for". I hoped for a million because i wanted proof ayu can still do it with such a mega release but even if it doesn't, it's still not going to erode my excitement when i get my copy. I'll just sort of give up the idea that ayu will go back to million territory one day, that's all.
