If she doesn't end up releasing a single I think I'd be a little disappointed but only because I'm anxious to see what she'll give out to us in this "new" era. Someone mentioned before that it's interesting how a lot of us are clamoring for her to take a break/relax/rest up since she's always so busy and yet probably an equal amount of us are restless for new material. It's a self-defeating cycle, I suppose.
Announcements for singles are usually given a month or so in advance prior to their release, so if she was planning for a late October/November single she'd have to announce it almost literally within the next few days or a week at most. I have to say that the announcement that her 6/29 10th Anniversary show being televised in November gives me some kind of hope that she'll have a November single come out around the same time. |
