i would describe it as crazy-funny-enka pop music.
they were more serious-sounding with Naniwa Iroha Bushi/Osaka Rainy Blues. but they got their break with "Sukiyanen, Osaka", which set off the "crazy" following A-sides we hear today.
their single "Mugendai / OH!Enka (Sakura Enka) / Sukiyanen, Osaka." almost beat out Ayu's "HEAVEN" since they were released on the same week if anyone remembers (or was around at the time. AHS was freaking out, LOL!)
