Most of the time shots are not done until a certain setting is decided, so there is only one photoshoot. Choosing the decided photo is just comparing between a bunch of pictures from that one shoot and picking which had the best angle/face/lighting. I worked at a fashion mag publishing company so I'm just basing off my experience there.

I didn't mean a whole new photoshoot, but just .. well, pictures we didn't see before. Taking a picture from the booklet is a bit cheap imo. I mean, they gotta take more than 5 pictures in a photoshoot.
