In other news, I
was going to wait until I had the CD in my hands to listen to the songs, but in the end I couldn't resist and spoiled myself with the leak. I'm very pleased that my prediction that this would be their best album came true (at least for me). Their style has gone even further into the dark synthpop territory they explored on "Lyudi Invalidy," and that makes me
very happy! They actually sound a lot like Ladytron on a few tracks, and the interlude in the middle reminds me of the instrumental tracks on Depeche Mode albums. My only complaint is that it's only about 40 minutes long, but I guess I'd much rather have quality over quantity.
Unfortunately, as much as I want to, I'm not allowing myself to listen to the album again until my copy arrives. I feel a little bad for ruining the surprise, and I want to make sure that the day it comes stays special.
