If you think about it, like, the top selling album of this year will only make 1.5 million.
And during Ayumi's peak, 4 - 6 million was so common.
So I understand why Avex knew that putting out all these things for her Anniversary is unrealistic.
They will probably lose money before gaining. T T

Totally right except 4 - 6 million... It should be 2 - 4 million instead. During ayu's peak the highest album sales was hikki's Distance (4.3 - 4.5 million copies?), and A BEST was another album able to pull off 4 million copies. Next year (2002), the top album was again hikki's DEEP RIVER (3.5 million copies), while ayu's I am was around 2.3 million copies.
So even back in ayu's (and/or hikki) peak era, the declines has been started already. I remember I was actually shocked that I am first week sales was only 1.6 million copies (actually 1st and 2nd week combined since it was released on the new year). Duty's first week sales was over 1.6 million copies as well, but that was done in one week. I thought ayu's popularity was sharply decreased during that moment, but then later on I realized that everyone's sales decreased as well...
OMG sorry I was too off topic LOL. I hope that this time Days and GREEN's covers will be totally different. I would be shocked if all covers have the same theme... And if that's the case I don't see why avex names 2 covers with Days as the lead, and the other 2 with GREEN as the lead..
