Megumi no Ame, while generic, isn't bad. It's a safe song imo. It's not hitting any new ground, and it's not pushing out something unfamiliar, but it's still pleasant to listen too and still has an emotional power to it. While it's nothing mind blowing like Ashita, or even RED CLIFF, it's not bad.
That being said, since Namida is a b-side, I expect to see something a little more daring since there isn't the risk of the single not selling well because the song is ill received.
Also, Megumi no Ame, especially in the verses, reminds me of one of her Chinese cover songs
