I was really surprised too. It definitely wasn't what I was expecting from them
I also agree with you in TMOAB being better. That album I loved right away, but this one needs some time.
My favourite tracks right now are Red Soil, Toguro, Bugaboo, Gaika..., Dozing Green and Inconvenient Ideal. Kyo's screaming/growling (whatever you want to call it) is pretty killer on this album, though.
