I disagree. I actually like how she sticks to these themes. It's similar to what good poets do. And she did say that she writes about only two things: love and freedom.

Sylvia Plath wrote about the same things and themes over and over and over and used the same images again and again, but I would not say that she failed as a poet. In fact, because she chose to focus on these and develop them throughout her career, she was able to perfect her skill in writing.

If Ayu wrote about as much things as possible, I think she would not be as great and wise a lyricist as she is. She'd end up like Hikki, who writes about a lot of interesting things, but what she's saying isn't really all that profound.
