Hahaha 'wistfully' seems to be the most accurate translation for 'setsunakute'! But like what jon_the_d said... it really seems very bombastic and flowery... and I don't really know if missing is an appropriate translation, because in this context, the meaning of 'setsunakute' is exactly what jon_the_d said...

It's classic unrequited love....
you want to be with them, but the fact that they don't return your love is a constant source of sadness and pain. But you'd still rather be with them and suffer, than not be with them at all.
