This is another song where I say "I'll take you to a fun new world" and lead the listener, acting out the image of a cool woman. As far as for what kind of woman I imagined, it was Mine Fujiko in her black leather body suit, lol」

『ｓｈｏｗ　ｇｉｒｌ』
「The moment you listen to this song it really thrills you. It's concept is that of a twirling "Trick," which brought about its creation. This song expresses the theme of a bad girl taking a boy into the back-stage dressing room." I play the "Demonic cinderella who plays with her men." (O_O) This song has a really cool PV, so I would love for you all to check it out!!」

『Ｙｏｕｒ　Ｌｏｖｅ』
「This was a song written and composed for me by a man named HIRO. I really prefer to sing my own lyrics to express myself, so it has been a while since I've sang a song written by someone else. I wanted to sing it because of the straight lyrics that ride so cleanly on the melody and really spoke to me, and because it was interesting to sing a song from a man's perspective. This song is about a woman saying how she wants her man to be, and creating him in her own way. I thus sang it as if I was wishing "I want to be loved like this!!" lol」

『ｓｔａｙ　ｗｉｔｈ　ｍｅ』
「This is a ballad about a lover from whom your heart has grown distant, and you're wishing you could return to the days of happiness. It gives me the image of a woman unable to forget her love and walking slowly through a gently illuminated town.」

『Ｊｏｙｆｕｌ』
「This is another song sang from the perspective of a man. It's a song that says "You're great the way you are" and gently pushes a girl's back. I thought that maybe that message was stronger from a man's point of view. This is definitely a song that I want to sing together with the fans on tour.」

『ＪＵＳＴ　ＴＨＥ　ＷＡＹ　ＹＯＵ　ＡＲＥ』
「This song is really about "Naked-faced (no-make up) Kuu-chan." Everyday isn't great like in Dramas, but that's when your girlfriends support you....... If you're melancholic, or you don't want to get out of bed int the morning, you just talk to your girls and doll yourself up and everything is better. It's a picture of my "Sex and the City" lifestyle. Actually, a real friend happened to have helped out with the photo/video shoot for this song.」

『ＴＡＢＯＯ』
「For me, this song was a "daring song I used to jump my personal hurdle." It was a catchy, less-poppy core sound, so I was slightly anxious before the release. But that changed into confidence after the release. The woman I envisioned in this song was L World's Jenny (I don't know what that is). Wanting to head to a new world, but being unable to. A woman who holds onto that feeling of being lost and moves forward.」

『Ｈｕｒｒｙ　Ｕp』
「A song similar to 'Ningyo Him' or 'Freaky,' where I made a Koda Kumi-style try at rock. But it's yet again a different kind of rock. As it is really a cool track, I'm quite satisfied with it. I imagined a woman at the mercy of (DAMENZU) ((I don't know if that's slang or what but I haven't seen it before. I'm guessing it has something to do with men) I'm blowing off the pain of my situation, but I won't cry myself to sleep. Agony and anger mix and the chaotic feelings become the screams in this song.」

『Ｔｈｉｓ　ｉｓ　ｎｏｔ　ａ　ｌｏｖｅ　ｓｏｎｇ』
「Love is not simply "happiness", but has various parts. Whatever god you pray to, it won't come true, however many times you sing love songs you don't reach the one you want... "Despair" is another part of love.That is the premis of this song. It's a type of song that I had not yet tackled, and it shows another side of me. It's not a song that I had to imagine performing while writing, but as soon as I heard it the lyrics flowed out of me.」

『Ｂｌｉｎｇ　Ｂｌｉｎｇ　Ｂｌｉｎｇ』
「"I'm not a cheap girl" "Don't go out with girls like that" "If you love me then you can do anything right" : I imagined a man-controlling woman who would say such things. I got help from a rapper called AK-69 to do this song. When I asked if there was a good rapper to put in this song everyone started saying his name!! So I listened to his stuff and he's was really cool, so I went for it. He really took this song to the "bling bling" level.」

『Ｔｈａｔ‘ｓ　Ａｉｎ’ｔ　Ｃｏｏｌ』
「This is a collaboration song with Fergie of the Black Eyed pease. An international duet between two singers. But we haven't performed together yet... I want to someday stand on the same stage!!」

『Ｍｏｏｎ Cｒｙｎｇ』
「Not wanting to show their weakness, wanting to cry but being nable to.... There are many women in such situations now; unable to become comfortable in work, or love; trapped within difficult memories. I thought of a "strong woman" finally letting out her tears when making this song. It's a special song which I made with my thoughts reaching out to those who have helped me in tough times.」

『Untitled』
「As far as entertainment, this album will cause me to be seen in many different lights. But in the end, I want to send out that message that "I'm always the same on this inside." I really feel that I've saved the best for last on this one.」

『Venus』　※
「This is a song for a a CM that I did, and one which I have sang live and at a-nation. I liked it so much, that I finally decided to put it on an album. The image for this song is of a strong woman, untouchable, walking powerfully. It's rare that I sing an entire song in English, so let this be another side of Koda Kumi for you all to see.」
