Well....my opinion is....why should she not be somewhat sucessful with this song? First of all, looking beyond the "un-hikki-japaneseness" that people keep complaining about, its a very nice sounding ballad. As long as radios play it and she gets the right amount of exposure, it should become atleast somewhat noticed. Sure, its not Flavor of Life but its catchy, it sticks, and the with the right steps, this could be a possible hit for Utada as an U.S artist not Utada Hikaru the Japanese artist. Its best to keep those two personas seperate because at the end of the day, she does pretty different things as each. While I do not see hikki achieving the recognition she deserves in the US anytime soon, I'm confident that she will get there.
